100 & 102 Series Glazing Bar System

Spectrum's 100 & 102 Series overhead glazing bar system is the most versatile overhead glazing system of it's kind

The 100 & 102 Series glazing bars are the obvious choice for overhead glazing applications where waterproofing and versatility is paramount.

While most elements of the 100 & 102 System are the same, the 100 Series (E037) glazing bar is designed to accommodate 50mm wide structural rafters (e.g. steel, timber or aluminium) of depths calculated to economically span the distance required for your glass roof or canopy needs. The 100 Series can also be used for small spans when self supported. The 102 Series (E047) glazing bar system has all the design features of the 100 Series, but has an integrated support rafter to increase spans and maintain a clean finish as well as having the convenience of screw ports.

Both series feature a cascading gutter system which flows any condensation drips out of the building. The systems include a purlin system enabling clamping all four edges of the glass enabling large waterproof roof areas to be achieved without the reliance on joint sealants.

100 & 102 Series features:
  • Suitable for large or small span applications
  • Cost effective
  • Built-in drainage channel to glazing bar and purlin
  • 102 Series glazing bar is able to be curved to a 1400mm radius, 100 Series can be curved to a tighter radius
  • Available in powder coated and anodized surface finishes
  • Alloy and temper - 6063 T5
