Spectrum started out in 1976 as a manufacturer of componentry for the New Zealand aluminium industry. The company has since grown and expanded to become a significant force in a number of diverse industries offering a range of building products and services.

In late 2014, Spectrum moved to a purpose built factory & offices in Te Rapa, Hamilton. In 2017 a second building was added to cater for the increased demand, and in 2023 following unprecedented growth the business moved to a new purpose built factory and office complex in Burbush Hamilton.
The staff at Spectrum are the greatest asset and represent the broad range of industries that we are involved in – ranging from engineers to designers, installers, skilled metal working tradesmen and more.
